East Boise Homes for Sale

East Boise stretches from the East End to Harris Ranch. Following Warm Springs Avenue to the east reveals what makes the city such a popular place to live. Residents in this region enjoy everything from the Boise Foothills and Table Rock to the Greenbelt and the Boise River, bringing convenient access to a host of recreational activities. The 25-mile Greenbelt is a tree-lined path that sits alongside the river, running through the heart of the city offering picturesque views, wildlife watching, and foot access to many of Boise’s most beloved riverside parks. Just a few of the popular spots residents can easily reach from here include Lucky Peak State Park for swimming, fishing boating, biking, and more, and Barber Park for hopping in the river to cool off, float, or just stay on land and play. Quinn’s Pond is referred to as the river’s “outdoor gym” where one can sunbathe on the beach or rent a paddleboard.

Learn More About East Boise Real Estate

The homes in East Boise feature a wide variety of architectural styles, from historic mansions and early 1900s bungalows to upscale contemporary homes and modern townhouses. The area is particularly known for its grand mansions which span from the Northeast downtown corridor and are tucked against the foothills as one of the oldest neighborhoods in Boise. With the idyllic location just outside of downtown, residents are close to all the amenities they could ever want steps from their door. The further east you go, the more historic charm you’ll find, though there are newer developments like Harris Ranch with recently built homes.

When looking through East Boise properties, you’ll find many varied options like the Candleridge neighborhood with just 40 homes, close to downtown and Camel’s Back Park, built between 1980 and 2007, along with the popular East End with a mix of historic, eclectic, bungalow and craftsman homes, the earliest of which was built circa 1890. Construction continued through 1968 although there were also some tear-down/rebuilds that are much more recent.
