Located on the base of the Boise Foothills, Camel’s Back Park is a well-maintained, 11-acre park, tucked in the North End of Boise, ID. It is well known for its hiking and dog-friendly off-leash trails. 

The park has a plethora of exercise opportunities. A 15 piece Bodybuilding.com Park Gym pm a large 1,927 -square-foot pad is great for a first-timer or season vet. Additionally, swingsets and a playground for areas 2-5 and 5-12.

Relax in the many picnic table areas. Thinking about an outdoor birthday party? Family reunion? The picnic tables can also be reserved as far out as a year in advance. Reserve here.

Camel’s Back Park has four tennis courts that are very popular among locals in the North End. Though one court must be public at all times, tennis courts may be reserved by contacting Boise Parks and Recreation at (208) 608-7680.

Similarly, the well-maintained beach volleyball courts are perfect for any park-goer. Built in 2010, these sandy courts are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Play soccer? Ultimate frisbee? Practice fields are available for reservation from local soccer organizations and partners by BPR. The fields are usually free for public use on weekends and afternoons. 

Camel’s Back Park leads you to the local favorite Hull’s Gulch Reserve. Hiking, walking, and mountain bike trails lead into the Boise Foothills. Please use proper trail etiquette and enjoy!
